I married my husband, Dan,
on August 5, 2017.
I have two sisters,
Lauren and Meghan.
I have a Pomeranian-Bichon dog named Lola.
Hobbies
I enjoy running and
competing in races.
I love being surrounded
by friends and family.
I like skiing and doing other outdoor activities like boating and tennis.

I attended Utica Community Schools in Shelby Twp., MI from kindergarten to 12th grade.
I attended Michigan State University, where I co-directed a College of Education student organization called Tomorrow's Educators for the Advancement of Multiculturalism (TEAM), participated in the Urban Education Cohort Program (UECP) and taught a summer in Detroit Public Schools through the Urban Immersion Fellowship.
I completed Michigan State University's Master of Arts in Educational Technology program in 2018.

I worked as a summer school teacher at Schulze Elementary School in Detroit Public Schools through the MSU Urban Immersion Program.
I was a student teacher in a fourth grade classroom at Mt. Hope Elementary in Lansing School District. I also coached an after-school volleyball team.
I currently teach at Jane Addams Elementary School in South Redford School District in Redford, MI. I taught 2 years in 3rd grade and now am teaching my 3rd year of 2nd grade.
